Conquer

A poster designed and printed for an assignment that explores using typography expressively to juxtapose two texts. The two pieces of text I chose to incorporate in this was a poem by a user named 'Gallixie', that says "Golden child, Lion boy; Tell me what it’s like to conquer;" the other piece is an excerpt from Fyodor Dostoyevsky's Netochoa Nezvanova, "You sensed that you should be following a different path, a more ambitious one, you felt that you were destined for other things but you had no idea how to achieve them..."

From these two writings I wanted to juxtapose the idea of a figure who is seen as being destined for greatness and is admired in Gallixie's piece, versus a figure who feels unsure about what their purpose is and feels like they want to follow a different path, but doesn't know how to do it.
